    Hi guys,

Thank you for your amazing work on Openbuilds softwares.

I wonder why, while generating G-Code, Cam sets the spindle to move from an area to another at each path in Pocket mode instead of doing each path of an area.
That would reduce a lot the spindle move across the entire area, even more for multiple passes.

I guess there is a good reason for that ?

That's up to the operator. If you select both paths and add them to a toolpath together, and apply a pocket to both at the same time, its treated as a single piece of geometry.
But if you create each as its own toolpath, it finishes each one on its own too. Full control to the operator

    Oh !
Thanks so much, it seems logical.

Adding an option to choose operation mode even when we apply a pocket to both paths at the same time should be useful.
On a complex piece it should take a lot of time to optimize execution setting each path individually.

Edit : This is all the more interesting since we could thus modify the parameters of all the paths at once.
