If you build a larger CNC Router, it can double as a place to dry your salmon so it forms a pellicle for the smoke to stick to prior to putting in in the smoker.
We have millions swim up our rivers here so I find it "cheaper" (not counting gas and beer) to go catch my own. I do it from a kayak so it is a blast to have a big fish yanking you around. You just have to watch out for the hungry 1000+ pound sea lions. They give us very little respect.
