computer won't connect

    I haven't used my workbee 1510 for awhile. I went today to connect it to my computer and it won't connect. The computer makes the noise when you plug in the usb cord but that's it. any ideas on what might be causing it. I use black box controller and easel. Thanks for any help.

    I cant get it to connect with the open builds controller either.
    This is all I see. Not really sure where to go from here 20200920_155537.jpg

    As mentioned above, follow the steps in the troubleshooting guide. As we can see from the screenshot the USB device is not detected, so check device manager, check drivers, try different USB cable, try different computer. As you follow along the steps in the document I linked you to, the very last step also advises you what to do next, but first you have to work through the usual reasons yourself as those usually are the reason it fails to enumerate/connect

    it seems that I have an issue with the driver. I cant figure out how to load one. if I do it off of the link you gave me it said it loaded but doesn't seem to work. if I load it off of the device manager it gives me back error message of unable to load.

    I did not swap of cords because I don't have another one handy. Could that cause this

    Try a different cable or different computer
    Upload screenshot of device manager error

    well it must be with my computer. just took my other computer that has never been hooked up before. installed the easel driver and I'm off and moving the machine around.
