I hope this is the correct thread and community for Ooznest OX advice!

I'm a NOOB at Openbuild projects and need help in getting cutting.

I have inherited an Ooznest OX 500x750 complete, working kit.
I am using a USB-C to USB-2.0 printer cable direct from MacBook to OX.

I have downloaded Openbuilds Controller onto the M3 MacBook and Openbuild CAM on a Chrome browser.

But I am stuck getting the MacBook connected to the OX CNC.

Any links or advice on how to resolve my NOOB challenge would be very welcome indeed!

On another note, I'm aiming to cut some more custom guitars, having designed a range on Fusion and farmed-out earlier prototypes. The idea is to do this entirely in my shed now on the little Ooznest OX.

Thanks again for any support or advice, I very much appreciate it.

    Cheers, Rich

Ah HA - I've just worked out the 'serial port' connection via 'USBserial' - see grab, and ran a simple test using a motif.

Worked without the router attached - so I'll keep in exploring Openbuilds CAM features.

ANY advice and tips are still very much welcome, as is your patience and kind spirits.

    Cheers, Rich

Advice on Mill Bits, please! I have inherited a few milling bits but do not know what each does best!

Could anybody provide advice or a link to help educate me... I've Mr Googled the 'Vortex' brand and numbers but nothing correlates.

Many thanks for your help, Rich
