Difference I'd see moving from OxCNC to LEAD 1515?

    Hi all,

Have a 1.5m x 1m OxCNC which has worked great, but wondering whether to upgrade to a newer model.

Can anyone help me with what difference I'd see between the two? I know there's loads of incremental changes, newer hardware etc, but could you help me understand what this'd actually mean for me?

How big a difference would it make in accuracy, how much bigger is the z-distance, is it more reliable etc?

Many thanks in advance be great to get some thoughts from folks who've used both!

Leadscrews vs Belts (massively better on torque, accuracy, reliability)
Much more rigid frame provides the ability to go a lot harder without deflection issues.

Ox would feel like a childs toy next to a LEAD

Thanks for this - really helpful!

And how does the onefinity stack up next to LEAD - assume it's another step up across the board (eg ball screws Vs lead screw, more rigid etc)
