I have the open builds black box controller and i need to enter a dwell command to allow the spindle to reach cutting speed before the program runs. I think the Command is M4 P10 (The P referring to the delay in seconds). Can you advise how I do it. Is it on the serial/log or do I use the GCode Editor. Also can you let me know the correct syntax to use. Do i just enter it as is or do I need to provide a line number reference to specifically place it in the program or some other prefix like the $ sign.

    Thanks in advance

Your CAM should do that for you. Which CAM are you using to create your tool paths / gcode?

Ok, so you would have to reach out to Carveco support and ask them how to edit in a spindle start delay for the post processor, so that Carveco outputs it correctly.
