keep getting this error.. not a clue what it actually means/how to fix. probably something stupid I'm missing?
Its not an error. Its a warning and can be ignored. But to explain it, its telling you that you havent defined a work offset in your job setup in fusion. Fusion defaults to WCS 0. Fusion assumes if you leave it at 0, then you want G54. However, G54 is 1, G55 is 2, and so on. So, the post is just telling you that its going to assume you want G54. If you want to get rid of that warning, go into your job setup, change your WCS to 1, then right click it and select save as default. From now on, Fusion will default to WCS 1 when you set up a new job. It will not go back through all your old setups and change them so you will still get the warning on old setups until you change it. But new ones will be good to go. Ok, cool! I’m pretty good with Fusion in the design set, but man this manufacturing section is stumping me left and right.. Thanks!
Here's how I learned https://www.youtube.com/nyccnc/playlists?view=50&sort=dd&shelf_id=11 and https://www.youtube.com/user/cadcamstuff/playlists
Yay, been watching them both as well as others, just hard to get specific answers from YouTube videos. Honestly the tutorials built into fusion (click on the question mark) are great, short and too the point, but dont cover everything
