I have completed the mechanical design of what I want to build. However I need guidance on the electrical control portion. I am confused as to what I need. If i am using a laptop via USB connection will the new black box be all that I need to run my for motors? What other path would be available to me? BlackBox Motion Control System
You at least need a power supply as well. We'll be able to help more if you tell us what motors you plan to use? Limit switches aren't necessary, but really nice to have.
Might also help to know WHAT you are building (cnc, printer, plasma, etc) so we can advise if the Blackbox will support all the peripherals
I am planing a 4 axis lathe design with Nema 23 motors. The ones that come with the c-beam actuator's. So if i understand this correctly, short of the power supply, this will replace the breakout and drivers for the motors?
