Hi everyone Just built my 1500 x 1500 and trying to connect black box x32 and interface for 1st time. Got Wi-Fi okay on interface, but couldn’t get firmware update, kept saying; Server Error 0x02 try again in few mins. This went on multiple times, with no change. Next took it in house and connected interface to laptop with ‘control’ running. Tried to update via wizard/firmware flashing tool/. But got repeated fault message that I hadn’t selected file to use- drop down menu for ‘firmware version’ is empty, so don’t know what to select. Please help. many thanks Gareth U.K
Correct, if current firmware is a little old (v1.51 or older), you should use Method 2 (USB) or 3 (CONTROL) to catch up first. If you are >1.52 already Server Error 0x02 could also mean it had trouble connecting to the servers (github) indicating a network problem on your end. Either way, CONTROL is best for initial setup. Does the PC have the latest version of CONTROL? And does it have working internet access to go and grab the latest Interface firmware? (Blank version sounds like the computer was offline) Should look like this: 1) Right after starting CONTROL - if you load the UI quick enough - you should see CONTROL going online and downloading the latest Interface firmware 2) Which then allows the Update tool to know what to flash as well
Thank you very much for detailed reply. I will go through this and hopefully report back later with a successs!
