Ok, so summer is here and I thought I'd screw up my summer rest by upgrading my workbee with ball screws. Ideally the best would be to add the ball screws in the same place as the current lead screws so all the mounts for motors etc could be reused. But, as there is always a but, the ballnut with flange and housing is too big. Is there ball nuts without flange and what housing can I use with it? Cheers
I've never seen one without a flange, in all my research. If they do exist, they probably won't be the cheap C7s made en masse, they'll be expensive NSKs or whatever, made in relatively small quantities for specific industries. I'd say go down to 1204 screw, the nut block is much more reasonably sized.
