fusion with the latest open builds post from @David the swarfer Is there a settings that could change the accuracy of the cuts? I was using an older post of his from about january and the cuts were accurate. I had to uninstall and reinstall fusion and i used the new version and my cuts dont seem to be as accurate. like i cut a 21" circle previously and it would measure 21" I do it now and in the x travel its a little undersized. any ideas?
My machine is using 1605 ball screws so in theory as long as my gbrl settings are the same the travel should be the same. If i measure in the y direction its right on, in the x its off by about 1/64 or so. to the eye this project is ok but to my engineering side of me i want it to be on. tool dia is all good
That sounds to me like your x axis is not calibrated properly. It's off by a frog's hair. Recalibrate the x axis and it should be OK then.
