Just wondering if anybody knows of a program to convert a G Code back to a DXF file? Free or open source would be the best.
    Cheers

Free. G-Code to DXF with G-Code Ripper I do not know how well it will work. I just tried it and it sort of worked. It does not have all the holes, just the tool paths were holes start? Personally, I do not see how this can be effectively done. You would need to know the endmill diameter and then have to offset all the lines and holes and hopefully there is no finishing pass. Also, when imported into Fusion 360, the scale was way off. I think it is something you would need to experiment with to get the hang of it.

Thanks. I tried to install this on my computer but it didn't seem to work. I will try it again.
    Cheers

You just need to extract the zip file and click on the Application file.
