Couldn't you just use the free version for a month and test all the materials you cut routinely with different cutters and collect your own data? I am interested in the software, but my build is not done, and I would like to try it out for awhile before purchasing. Personally, if the software seems worth it, I would be more than willing to pay for it.
Yes you can use the free version to log everything and you'll be fine... oh wait! Look, a new cutter! I personally did that and I always need more than what I have logged. You can play with the depth of cut and see how it's affecting your spindle speed and feedrate without actually trying it (and risking to break something).
