I just purchased a 3018 CNC, and the first thing I am trying to mill that isn't the test codes. I am getting errors. I am using inventor CAM to created the tooling path, then I am using GRBLcontrol (candle1.1.7) to control the CNC. the code loads fine into GRBL, but when I hit run line one is giving me an error 1. “error:1” : _(“G-code words consist of a letter and a value. Letter was not found.”). I do not know gcode at all and have no idea how to fix this. I attached a really shortened version of the gcode

    Hi
    Looking at your Gcode
    M26 is a not a supported code
    G71 is not supported
    H0 is not supported
    M30 is not supported

conclusion: you are using the wrong postprocessor. You do need to select one that is for GRBL since GRBL uses a small subset of Gcodes, just the basics.

According to this there is such a postprocessor....
