Hello guys new to the forum I was wondering if anyone on here has mounted there cnc at a angle on the wall. I have limited shop space and I'm wondering if my machine can handle it. I have a openbuilds 1500x1500 with high torture nema 23s and a dewalt router that I plan on upgrading to a spindle any thoughts would be helpful thanks.
'high torture' made me laugh (-: I would mount so Y run horizontal, so a minimum of weight has to be lifted, ie only X will be lifting.
That's kinda what u was thinking do you know of a place that sells them specifically for cnc Or something I could mod to make it work for me?
I'm not aware of anyone specifically making them for CNC as there are so many different variations. You'll just need to find the load that needs resisted and find a spring of suitable length and force. There are plenty of manufacturers out there.
