I just finished mfg the motion control cables for heavy metal and hooked them up to an Arduino Uno R3 to control the ST-M5045 drivers I am using, then used the jog function to test functionality in candle control. No smoke but no joy on motion control. I have used the same setup using an old at mega 256 and it worked fine previously. The 5045 drivers call for common 5vdc into the + inputs and signal control into the - input. Does the UNO running GRBL 1.1 signal pin apply a ground return path ? or is it held high and goes low on the output signal?
