Grbl Panel is very old, outdated and retired. What controller are you using?

Last release was in 2018, repo archived in 2019. Going on 6+ years without an update and unlikely to be a good choice for a newer machine

We recommend you run an OpenBuilds BlackBox X32 (see https://docs.openbuilds.com/blackbox-x32)

Up to date 32 bit hardware, entitled to tech support here, up to date software toolchains, more modern firmware etc

I’m encountering the same issue where my machine cannot unlock the alarm state. It shows the following:
    Alarm MPos 0.000 0.000 0.000 WPos 0.000 0.000 0.000.

I’m a CNC hobbyist from China and own a desktop CNC machine called Tiger CNC, which I control using Grbl Panel. It has been working perfectly for the past few years, but recently, it stopped functioning properly.

Currently, the three axes can move normally and return to the origin, but I cannot unlock the alarm state. It seems like the machine’s coordinates might be the problem. I’m unsure if it’s a hardware or software issue.

I’d appreciate it if someone could offer advice or a solution. Thanks in advance for your help!

Please contact the vendor you purchased from for assistance, or replace the controller with something a) a little more modern and b) from a company you can get support from for their product

    1) Take a Grbl Settings backup
    2) Order a BlackBox Motion Control System X32
    3) Wire it up as per https://docs.openbuilds.com/blackbox-x32
    4) Restore your Grbl Settings backup you took from the old controller
    5) Use it with modern software toolchains

Thank you for your reply, Peter.
Yes, I think I should update the controller board for my machine. This machine has served me well, and I’ll keep it running strong.
I’d like to ask if the BLACKBOX supports shipping to customers in China. The price is very reasonable, and I’m happy to purchase one.

It should, follow store checkout procedures it will list available shipping options

Make sure to get 24V Meanwell Power Supply Bundle as well (otherwise warranty might be invalidated if used with an unknown PSU) and if you can, Xtension Limit Switch Kit helps a lot with EMI issues too
