Has anyone connected an RC servo to a rotary switch for toggling multiple solenoids (or similar)

So basically, at many discrete points in my gcode file I'd like to issue a command that enables or disables some, all, or none of three solenoids. Since I can control the angle that the servo moves to then I should be able to turn the rotary switch to any chosen position (by setting the angle on the servo in the gcode file.) And the rotary switch will then turn the corresponding thingies on or off.

Is this a bad idea, or sheer genius?

My blackbox vintage is 2019/2020 but if there are newer BB Controllers that can toggle 3 outputs independently I'd probably be willing to update.

Not a wonderful idea - as the switch rotates it will momentarily energise any contacts it passes on the way to the one you selected.
