    Hello, I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas to what my problem might be. My machine is all setup and I have completed cutting my spoiler board with the workbee and I have it attached to the CNC. Now I have attached a 3/4" piece of MDF to run my first project, I have it Homed and I have found my XYS work zero set. Now every time I try to start a project all I get is the error below. Im stumped because it was working perfect when I made my spoiler board. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bill

    Hi @biaquinto, we need more info please;
    What controller?
    What thickness spoiler board?
    Is this the Openbuilds workbee? (ie not the Ooznest one)
    What clearance on the Z axis between spoiler board and Z home have you got?
    What software did you design your project with and how much Z clearance did you set in your cam software?
    Most likely cause of problem is your g-code is trying to lift the Z axis to clear the workpiece beyond the space available (also check where you defined the workpiece origin in your cam software and that you have enough space in the X and Y axes to do the job.
    Alex.

    Hi Alex, thanks for responding.

    Duet 2 controller
    Spoiler board is 3/4 MDF
    Project board is 3/4" MDF
    It is the Ooznest 1015 screw drive
    Clearance from the spoiler board to the Z axis home is 2 7/8"
    I designed it with Aspire and the Home/Start position Z gap above material is 20.32mm.

    What post processor are you using with Aspire?

    I am uploading the GCODE directly to the Duet2 web interface. I only use aspire and the web connection to the duet2. Is this wrong?

    When you save your toolpath in Aspire you have a (large) choice of post processors to use. Which one are you using? You should be using the Grbl (mm) (*. gcode) one.

    Hi Alex you hit it right on the nose. I adjusted the safe Z and it works again. I appreciate all your help. Thanks
