I got a 24000rpm, 1.5kw, 5A spindel of Steppeonline, with thé white controller v70-1.5s2. thé connection from controller to spindel is ok (3 Points Tha show no resistance to eachother go to UVW on thé controller. But hen i got stuck. In thé programming i only have F-codes te change. And if i see thé manual i should get F4 up to 400(hrz) but van not go higher than 50. Anyone who van help?
VFDs have a blizzard of options that confound most beginners. It doesn't help that the manuals start out in chinese, are badly translated into english and then often used by a non english speaking person. I would go look on the CNCZone forum in the spindle section. There are a couple of experts that help people and there are a lot of threads on VFD setup/programming. One thing to consider for safety - the Chinese don't seem to believe in a ground connection for their spindles so please read up on that. There are simple mods you can do. A short to chassis ground is much more desirable that a short through you to ground
Running a 400hz spindle at 50hz will run for a few seconds before the windings melt. Minimum freq for most 400hz spindles are 100hz If your setup is the typical Haugyuang or YL620: See docs:blackbox:connect-vfd [OpenBuilds Documentation] (example configs linked at the bottom of that page)

Update. The F of PD seems to have thé same functions behind it what is good news. Alsof i had response of the manufacturer of my controller and it is a easy fix. Thé set-up of F5 needs to be first 400 in my case, then F4 400 and is that is done you van set F3 up to 400.
