    Hi OpenBuild Team,
I am a newbie in this CNC world and have limited knowledge. Can I have a question and hope that you would take time to guide me through with thanks.
My question is: How to prevent one Stepper motor failure on Y axis (with two motors)?
I have search the net and people tell me on making one to be a slave to the other but I am not sure how to do this!
    Please advice!

In practise motors never fail. Use good quality appropriately sized drivers and all will just be fine. All our machines runs dual-y with no real issues, nothing to fix
