Hi guys. Here’s my little fan hack. This will keep the fan off while vfd is not rotating the spindle. 1 switch off main power.. 2 remove the front cover 3 remove the 4 screws that holds the bottom part of th vfd. 4 unplug the two wire connector to the fan and cut the red wire. 5 soldier wires the is long enough to reach up to the control boards screw connectors. 6 connect the two wires to the clamps (see picture) no matter in which order to connect. It’s a auxiliary relay. Notice the relay is NC (normally closed contact) 7 collect everything together again and power up the vfd. Go the parameter PD052 and change it to “3” (no picture of that). “03: Zero Speed: The contact will act when the output frequency of the inverter is less than its starting frequency.” this means that the fan will not run when the vfd is idling. Since the wires are mounted on the NC contact. /kasper
