Hi, my name is Steven and I have built a small cnc router that uses the DeWalt smaller router.
I am a complete novice on the software side of what is needed to set up a CNC router and make it run a job, so please bear with me.
I purchased all the openbuilds items as advised by openbuilds. X32, nema23 stepper motors, wire leads,
the 24 v power source/powerbox assembly, limit switches and wire leads. CONTROL is loaded.
I have had help on the beginner forum and the system is up and working and able to operate the X,Y and Z.
I am trying to understand how to set up the homing cycle.

    Thank you,
    Steven

Grbl Settings tab scroll down to Homing Cycle and set to 1. See Grbl v1.1 Configuration (click on link, takes you direct to correct section)

Scroll down to $23 Homing Dir and tell us where you mounted the switches. At axis min or max end of travel. Max is the recommended option if possible, just make sure what you did on settings matches where switches are in real life on machine

    Thats basically it
