Hello, My interface display has white lines across the screen that do not change or move when the interface is reset or menu's accessed. Has anyone seen anything like this? I've found a replacement display with matching spec's but before I go and swap it out, I thought I'd ask the question here - I don't want to replace the display and find that there is a problem elsewhere. The interface works fine otherwise. Thank you.
Thanks Peter, I half-way came to this conclusion last night after a quick desolder - resolder of the current display. A replacement is en route.
Replaced the display and the lines are gone. The display I ordered was a "3.2 inch SPI Serial color without touch LCD screen TFT ILI9341 driver" and it was a perfect swap. Initially I tried a 2.8 inch, but it was not the right size. 2.8 on the left, original in the middle, new 3.2 on the right:
