My workshop computer just died, so I am having to work on my families computer (inside the house). I am using the Interface and USB. I have 2 questions I can't find searching through the forum. 1. - My Interface is SUPER sensitive! I feel like if a piece of dust lands in it, it moves. A couple of times, it has gotten stuck moving and runs all the way to the limit switch or it got stuck moving the Z downward and the cnc machine jumped a couple of times, before it shut itself off. My off/on switch is in the back of the machine, due to the short wire length or that is where the setup video placed it, I can't remember. is it supposed to be this sensitive? if not, how can I fix it? 2 - Can I resurface the spoiler board only using the Interface or do I need a computer hooked up to it, to do that? I originally surfaced it using the OpenBuild Cam. What speed and feed do you recommend to surface a spoiler board? I am using a 1 1/8" Carbide tipped surfacing bit. The last time I surfaced my board, it took in-between 8-10 hours. I have the LEAD 1515. Thank you so much for your help!
Speak to http://support.openbuilds.com/support/home and they will sort that out, provided you already addressed any nearby EMI (flourescent lights, VFDs, other power tools or transformers) Yes you can. Generate the surfacing gcode on the PC - save it to a USB drive and put the drive into Interface
