Pre-Ordered my unit to be first in the que to receive the new interface, received it beginning of Jan 2021.

Very disappointed with machined quality of the case it's not very handheld friendly. It also lacks many functions.

I was hoping we could send files from network to the interface.....(nope)

When using the jog buttons it sometimes goes and does its own moves i.e. moving X axis it sometimes moves the Z axis and does stutter quite often.

Would have liked a goto xyz function instead of having to hold down jog buttons.

Why does it disconnect the interface when connected to USB surely it would enhance the functionality....

Just correcting some of these statements

You can, see OpenBuilds/firmware and update your firmware if you have not. New features, bugfixes and enhancements are added very regularly

    Do it the right way:
Computer > USB into Interface > Aux into BlackBox
With the Interface, you pass-through to the BlackBox (Grbl has only one UART. So thus if its in use by Interface, you have to connect through the Interface to connect to that one endpoint)

For the jog buttons, I noticed mine were sorta whacky until I adjusted the amount of pressure I applied. If I pressed too hard, I would have issue. Changing to just laying my finger on the button solved it.

I uploaded gcode via wifi the other day. Make sure you have the latest firmware. Connect to the interface with a browser (IP address is upper right of the interface display). You'll get a webpage that will allow you to select your files to upload. It worked great. My only wish is that I could select the folder to upload to.

Please advise were do i manually download the latest Firmware, I do have Auto Update turned on and the unit on bootup checks that i the latest version.

I have installed it correctly but if it is connected to the usb > computer then the interface just becomes a silly computer game....

Oh this is the Description for the interface on Openbuilds Main Website! "INTERFACE puts control in your hands, enabling you to Jog, Home, Zero, Load and Run jobs all from a stand alone plug and play hand held pendant."
