The way I understand it, is to connect the Interface to a controller, you need to use the UART. In my case, I just recently purchased a CNC xPro v5, and it doesn't look like the UART is exposed. Is it not possible to connect via the USB-C? I was hoping to be able to have a pendant of some sort, but it's looking like this is not possible with the xPro v5?
Only compatible with controllers with UART pins exposed. As mentioned in the docs.openbuilds.com/interface
