.9deg Nema 23 Stepper Bipolar 2.8A 1.26Nm(178.5oz.in) 23HM22-2804S|23HM22-2804S|Nema 23 Stepper Motors This NEMA 23 appears to have the same specs as the ever so popular 1.8° NEMA 23 in the Openbuilds Store. My question is, is there a noticeable difference by having the smaller step degree with a Cartesian OX? Say for instance you wanted to have a laser mounted instead of a router and there is fine detailed inscribing that is needed. OR, is this not needed because microstepping can be enabled? I've read about missing steps with too much microstepping, so I don't think I want to use that, or is it ok? So to avoid missed steps, would the 0.9° be better? I would like to use the CNC xPRO V2 Controller. Thanks!
