So I've seen the recommended router for Lead CNC 1010 model is DWP611. I've noticed that dewalt also offers a different model with more HP but I'm not sure if it would make a difference (I guess it could, with hard materials?) and whether that model is even cross-compatible with DWP611. Anyone have any experience/knowledge about this router?

Couldn't tell from the Dewalt site whether the screw thread on the body for height adjustment went all the way down (they only show it in it's base) - if it does there might be an issue with mounting it on a cnc machine.

If it helps I've milled materials from soft plastics to mild steel with a 700 watt palm router, and I've now changed to the RoutER11 which is a vast improvement on the palm router I was using.
