Hello Everyone I built a C Beam gantry actuator, as seen here and everything is working perfectly, with the exception that I need to adjust the eccentric spacers slightly - is there some trick (or tool) to doing that WITHOUT taking the entire thing apart? I have yet to be able to find enough clearance to get the wrench where it needs to be AND be able to turn it. Thanks everyone. ~Steve
Just unscrew the top plate from the C-Beam, keeping everything else assembled, then you can pull the motor+top plate+leadscrew+carriage as a whole out, adjust the eccentrics, and then put it back - test fit before finally screwing down the top plate again.
I don't have that mechanism but I do have restricted space, so I cut a spanner in half so I can get it under the carriage to adjust eccentrics. Spanners are cheap so I just bought an extra 10mm for the job.
