Hi, On a few rare occassions, I've had a job repeat itself. I dont know if this is a bug, or when I click the mouse button to start / run the job it somehow double clicks ? Is there a keyboard shortcut or another way to run the job without clicking on the icon. Going to look at windows settings to see if theres something there. thanks
wireless mouse? they can do an extra click, but more often 'stick down' until moved. also look at 'wizard and tools | customize keyboard shortcuts'
Thanks, shortcuts prob best for me, however they dont seem to work. Do they need enabling or do I have to be in a certain part of the program for them to work, generally in the Macro tab when jobs start ?
Nothing extra needed, defaults are set for you, ready to go - do make sure the window has focus (not running in the background, focussed, active window - if in doubt click on the window to make sure thats the active window) - if its not responding you probably don't have the window itself active (like clicking on the desktop, another application, minimising it, etc to remove focus)
Try a different PC, or check the Devtools (Ctrl+Shift+i > Console tab) while a) refreshing page and b) when pressing keyboard buttons - any (relevant) errors? If so, screenshot full window with devtools log showing error to side included, but please full window
No errors there, but also cropped, so cant view full screen please in full. Also, photo of screen vs proper screenshot (; Use Snipping Tool to capture screenshots - Microsoft Support - please I want to view all the states and messages in a nice normal readable way (; Or even easier without snipping tool, use keyboard shortcuts: Just alt+printscreen on CONTROL window and Ctrl+V in a chat reply here will do too
not as straightforward due to my setup, but will try and get something across. What I have discovered though, I do get the message Openbuilds CONTROL probably quit or crashed and the fault is down to the size of my Gcode file, removing a large proportion of the G0 commands fixes the issue....
if you are using Fusion360 with the OB post you can split the Gcode on line count and it will create multiple files for you that will correctly restart from one file to the other.
But not necessarily. Temporary non response from a busy backend still times out the socket.io connection but will likely reconnect once done uploading the big file (second or two). So depends... Proper crash would have one message and over and done with, never to respond again until restarted. Temporary and comes back, all normal. Errors are in RED, that's just a log entry and per your screenshot multiples of it so looks alive to me. When I reviewed your screenshot i didn't say anything about it because its somewhat normal Whats the specs of the PC, slow response from backend could stem from computer troubles too.
