I am getting this error randomly while running a job. GRBL file out of Vectric VCarve Pro. Ran this same toolpath and file several days ago without issue. Job will progress and then Machine/Controller THNIKS it hit a HARD LIMIT but job is 10"X10" and running in the middle of my LEAD 1010. I homed the Router and started Job over and got a little further, and then again, and then one more time before I decided to post. Only change was an update of the OPENBUILDS Controls software to 1.0.266 just yesterday. Any hints? I have check wiring and connections on all limit switches and nothing there? Thanks! Winter in North East Ohio, aka Dry Air ... I also ran an extra ground on the Vac Hose ... Thanks! Simple solutions to complex issues. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
It is cold and dry here, as well. Yesterday I was doing a v-carve and luckily made it through the carve portion of the job. It was on the cutting out of the part that I got a "USB Error" and Estlcam stopped the job. Instead of the dust shoe, I was vacuuming by hand because I wanted to watch the carving process (first time V-caving with Estlcam). I got the hose right next to the USB cable and it threw the error. That was the first time in 5+ years I have owned this CNC router I have ever had an EMI issue. Lesson learned.
I'm in the same boat. Trying to figure out what is causing the issue. Live in a cold/dry climate. I am getting the machine setup so haven't really been cutting at any length but seeing if I have to tram the router so running a larger surfacing job. I get about 75% through and it throws the error. I just "upgraded" the dust collection and with the increased movement of air it must be building up more static.
