I've got an ebay laser with a 700mm X-axis that I want to replace the gantry on due to some fundamental design flaws that affect the accuracy of the machine. I've been looking at some of the belt driven linear actuators on openbuilds but I'm concerned about the skinny belt width that the stock actuators in the part store come with. Every commercial laser cutter I have used in the past (including my crappy ebay one) has wide 15mm M3 belts. Would accuracy be affected by going to the smaller belts used with the Openbuild actuators? Thanks!
