    Hi,
Just got an opt xt8 laser and am trying to get it up and running with my existing cnc with a vfd spindle.

Everything seem good more or less except when trying to fire the laser at very low power to make a small dot to spot where starting point is gonna be it burn my work piece.
Checked the s value and it’s set to 24000 due to my spindle rpm and the ease of that and the numbers correspond with my settings for example Lightburn.
I get the same result in both Lightburn and control.

Measured the voltage out of the pwm port when power is set for 0,25% and it says 0,04v and at 100% 4,79v.
Does that seem to be what’s expected?
Even when trying lower like 0.1% it still burns and I think it’s looks the same going the other way to let’s say 1%

    Anyone had the same issue?
Or is it just that it’s that powerful and that’s the lowest it can do?

    Fredrik
