    Hey guys

I am wanting to order a laser head. Now I'm going for a 2 inch focal point for middle of the road stuff for now.

BUT, I am not sure on diameter of the lens.

The options are 12mm or 18mm or 20mm.

What do I select and why? I have searched Google but I cannot find a definitive reason to choose one over the other.

    Please help.

I have all those sizes and they all work because I have 4 laser cutters. What you need is to find out - what size lens fits the head you plan to use.

Thanks for that response. I bought a full kit with head and mirror holders and mirrors and 18mm lense.
I wasnt sure if there was any advantage either way so I went middle of the road. It's a new build so i guess like the cnc and 3d printer there will be some trial and error
