Hello, I have a lead 1010 and I am having trouble surfacing my spoil board. It leaves ridges. I tried tramming, but found a little play. I started taking things apart and found that the antibacklash nut on the z axis lead screw wasn't tight. I adjusted it, and that made it quite a bit more stable. To make it completely stable, I would have to adjust it until it was so tight that I wouldn't be able to move the motor by hand. Do I need to go tighter, replace the antibacklash nut, or something else? Thank you so much for your help!

Are you seeing "saw tooth ridges" or just varying depths of cut?

I'm not sure of the difference. I couldn't get them to show up in a picture, but this is someone else's picture that looks exactly the same. I'm more worried about taking care of the backlash before I can correct the ridges. I ordered a new anti-backlash nut today, so I will try that out
