Hey there. New to using CNC and have a problem. Using open builds cam to create g code for surfacing wood slab. When I hit preview, it is surfacing in circles instead of a linear fashion. Could use some help. Machine is the open builds lead 1515.
Would need some screenshots and even more importantly a Workspace Export to help you see what you may be doing wrong. Export Workspace OBC file under the file menu, so we can see your CAD file, toolpaths you created, etc
Attached is the workspace export. I am just trying to flatten a slap that is roughly 15" wide and 40" long. When I run the simulation, it is moving in an oval.
I am not at the computer right this moment, if you could post a screenshot too I can see if I spot something off the bat? If not will open your Workspace Export soonest I am back
Right, so OpenBuilds CAM doesnt have a surfacing option. Pocketing is done concentrically. OpenBuilds CONTROL has a parallel surfacing tool under Wizards and Tools
