I am in the planning stage as I just ordered a 1515 the other day. I also have a 2.2kw spindle and an Everlast 60 amp plasma cutter on their way too.

I know it would be best to have a dedicated machine for each but that is not in the cards right now. So I am trying to figure out a a axis that would allow quickish changing from router to plasma and vice versa.

i am planning on using the floating z for the plasma torch. It wouldn’t be too hard to remove the bump stopper to pull the floating section off and bolt on the router clamp.

or I was thinking of leaving just enough room
At the bottom under the floating portion to bolt the router clamp to...

anyone have ideas or seen or make good systems?
