So I have a 1500mmx1500mm Routakit with a 2.2kw Spindle. I continue to break Delrin wheels on the Z gantry. Would converting to linear rails eliminate my problem?
If so, how do I know what size rails and blocks to purchase or how many blocks I need?
    The gantry length is 250mm.

I would use 4 blocks HGR15 and I would assume you would want them 250mm long.

As Giarc said, you'll need 4 blocks, 2 on each rail. A 12mm rail will most likely be enough for a Z axis. The length of the rail depends on how you build the gantry. With sufficient space between the blocks on the rail, for stability, you may have only 8cm travel (or less) left. You may want to go with a 300mm rail. Do the math and see how much travel you need. That will tell you the right length.
