Location of X-Axis stepper Motor.

    Still in planning stages, Is there any reason I cannot build with the X-Axis Stepper motor on the right side of the gantry? It would work better for my shop layout.

    Without knowing what you are building I'm going to say that it should be as easy as switching the motor wires so your motor moves the correct way.

    sorry, its going to bee a Workbee 1010. I figure the plates are either identical or I can swap them from left to right and reverse the drag chain.

    The plates are mirrors of eachother so you can.

    thanks, they do look like mirror images, it makes sense that they would make them that way.

    Thats they way I'm planning on now, Also gonna try to put the drag chain on the left coming from the front of the machine so I can minimize cable lengths as my controllers will all be in the cabinet under the left front corner.
