Hi, Something strange is happening in the control software and I hope this is the right place to report it and possibly fix it. The settings tab disappears after I have performed a probe. I then don't receive a confirmation: "Probe executed correctly, remove the probe...". When I then disconnect and reconnect the software, I do get the confirmation, but the settings tab has disappeared and I can no longer execute home. The only solution seems to be to turn everything off and restart. All of this happens even without loading a project. Hardware: Blackbox32 Software: Openbuilds Control v1.0.388
Unable to replicate. Video and any additional info? Using probe wizard or custom macro? Do you have any custom macros? Does the machine stay connected after probing (some shorts in probe wiring can cause a disconnect) etc Enabling of the Homing buttons and showing of the settings tab requires controller to respond to a "$$" command, so if neither comes up, seems like controller is not responding. How is probe wired? YUsing a VFD spindle by any chance?
Thank you for your answer. Since I was impatient, I took an old Apple laptop out of the closet and installed the Control software on it. Everything now works flawlessly and without problems.
