I’m new to this forum and having troubles tuning and setting up my self-build plasma cutter. OpenBuild Control works great with my Sieg mini-mill but I've got problems with the proto Plasma Cutter when I installed limits and tried homing. Both use the MKS-DLC32 platform but only the Plasma uses limits switches.

The plasma cutter design is based very loosely on the JDs garage design. I’ve got the mechanics and the XYZ axis working OK and I’ve built-up an IP67 metal electrical cabinet to carry the electricals and electronics. I’ve included one micro switches on each axis for homing. The controller selected is the MKS-DLC32-V2.1 complete with the MKS-TS35-R-V2.0 display. All was going well as a proto until I attempted to set up the homing cycle. OpenBUILD Control software is being used to control the unit and as the Serial Console.

My OpenBuild Controller is currently Version 1.0.377 but the changelog box in the troubleshooting screen indicates that a Version 381 is available with access to more grblHAL commands and some other bug fixes. Q1 – Is auto update available? Q2 – Is grblHAL compatible with the MKS-DLC32 and TS35? Q3 - GitHub doesn’t appear to support the DLC32 and TS35, especially as a CNC format (i.e. non laser format). Is this true?

Second issues surround the homing and masks in that the homing function only works simultaneously for an XY axis homing. How do I get the normal homing cycle to be Z first then X any Y axis? I’ve discovered some additional grbl $ commands such as “ $Homing Cycle1=Z ” and “$Homing/Cycle0=Z;$Homing/Cycle1=XY ” but these don’t seem to work as expected and I would like to know if there are other or similar extended grbl Commands?
