Hi, HOpe you guys can help My CNC circle cuts are no longer fully round can anymore ? both left and right sides, have a straight bit along the edge. !! Can anyone advice how to solve this Thanks
Rick...big thank you m8 z pully was faulty, very loose, the grub screw heads are shot, will need to get fresh ones, but having trouble getting them out.. Thanks for your time.
I would suggest not using grub screws but substitute longer screws of the right diameter (see picture). If you strip the socket then you can still grab and turn them with a pliers.
Giarc Thank you.. its the old saying....great minds.... I bought longer stanard phillips screws and cut them down just enough to ensure they dont foul anything, and they are much easier to adjust etc. As you said, I also have the advantage of being able to grip them if it happens again.
