Hi everybody, I'm italian. I built this 1100x1100 machine. Thanks to italian openbuilds store for the great service. Now I need to improve it mounting a more powered spindle and rear plates on sliding system. Today I've a 500w spindle. I'd like to upgrade it to 1.5kw. On the z axis I've mounted two nut, one is normal, the other one is the anti_backlash.

    Salve trivalb.
That's a great looking machine you have there. It's design is very interesting especially the stepper motor set-up. It would be great if you could show some more pictures, or a video of it, in action.
It looks like your X gantry could cope with a 1.5kw spindle, but check out the weight of it first.
1 metre gantries can be subject to twist.

For the video... sorry for the bad quality of the link :

I spent whole a day to remove foam dust... I'm seriously thinking about a plate and a suction system...
