Is it possible to wire up more than one stepper on a single axis instead of slaving two axis together? to get more torque, not to be confused with more speed, although that would probably be a side benefit. Patrick.
Anything is possible, just not always a good idea. You'd be better served by going with a higher torque stepper or the mechanical advantage of a belt reduction system.
