Hello, I’ve noticed some strange behavior with my stepper motors after turning on my controller to set up my new spindle, without moving any of the motors. If I leave the motors idle for too long, one of the Y-axis motors shuts off completely. This doesn’t happen if I start using the motors right away—it only occurs when the machine is turned on and remains idle for a while. Interestingly, it’s always the same motor on the Y-axis. On my BlackBox X32 Controller, a red light appears on the Y-axis indicator when this happens. I’ve already inspected the wiring but couldn’t find anything unusual. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or does anyone have suggestions for troubleshooting? Kind regards, Skyshox
