    Hello,

I just purchased a Lead machine and have enjoyed building it. Last night I ran the sample provided and just did an air cut. I found the it seemed like the machine was slow and never did finish the job.

I feel like I'm missing something in the setup perhaps.

Also adjusting motor voltage, just what should I expect? This is where I might be going wrong. Motor performance is not very good I think. So how should I go about adjusting the motors and what I see and hear as I go about this?

    Thanks,

    Lee

Hey Lee, just checking in if you came right yet?
    Just to reiterate:
    - Cutting speed is set in your CAM software - the sample jobs are obviously quite conservative to not scare new users with crazy fast moves - so when setting up a job ensure you set the Feedrates properly (of course you cannot just run full tilt either, it has to be appropriate to the material, bit, and other cutting parameters)
    - Maximum rates could be limited by Grbl settings: gnea/grbl
    - There is a theortical limit to the physical hardware but thats well above 5000mm/min
