I got a mini mill for Christmas. It's actually a copy of the open builds mini mill but appears to use all the same parts in the same dimensions. At least as far as i can tell. Anyway, it came WITHOUT a router, power supply or motion controller and there seem to be some parts missing. I ordered the missing parts off of ebay and happened to have picked up a Rigid sander-router package on a sale and i have yet to use the router. And next time i have the $ to spare, i plan to order the electrnics from open builds directly. Anyway. I have been able to find scarcely little information on this unit around the web. Like whether or not my router will fit it and what parts and accessories are compatible etc. I am also interested in some sort of comprehensive way to learn CAD. So far software developers and i have no compatability in the way we rationalize. I found foreign languages far easier to learn than these programs. Anyone know any siple programs and/or comprehensive tutorials? Beyond that, does anyone have any tips, suggestions and beginner's traps to avoid?
Sorry about typhos. I am using a phone with overly small keys and it can be very hard to catch them in the form phones use for putting in text.
