It's been a week or so since I last used the CAM page and opened it last night to find a new version. Didn't have any trouble navigating it and created my toolpath with no issues. Went to run it this morning and keep getting this error. Numeric value format is not valid or missing an expected value. [ M3 S ] When I opened OPENBUILDS Control it downloaded a new update this morning so not sure if the error is in G CODE creation or the new Control. I re-downloaded Control from the website and re-installed and have the same issue. Here is a snip of the G CODE created. I don't know a lot about it but guessing I need the highlighted line to say S1000 like above? Any help would be appreciated.
I did not because I can't control that with my Dewalt and I did not have it as an option before and left it blank. So I can put any value in there? FYI - I did add 1000 to that G CODE line and am running now.
Thank You Peter! Just did that on my next cut and it worked. Guess it makes sense - just assumed since I can not control RPM that automatically that I did not need to enter anything. Now - how do I get rid of that 8 second delay at startup? Or shorten it? Is there something in settings?
Pushed a fix: Fixed misc bugs from new UI work / variable spindle / etc last week · OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-CAM@d42b547 Only adds the spindle rpm per toolpath + spindle spin-up delay for VFD spindles (in Settings > Settings you set whether you have a Router or Spindle) - it wasn't looking at it before, but now it does. If yours is set to Router (RoutER11) it will only add the first M3 S1000 in the header as usual. Also forced a default value for the block so its never blank again by default Fixed misc bugs from new UI work / variable spindle / etc last week · OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-CAM@d42b547 Refresh the page (Ctrl+F5) to see the latest Thanks for the reports
