I bought a new spindle came with a PWM I was wondering do I need it or can I wire the spindle to the motion control and control the on/off and RPM with the controller
Post some more details about the spindle for us to check and advise from, as is its going to need guesswork if it will work and how to wire it up

From the above, I can tell you this though: In Grbl Settings Set $30=12000 gnea/grbl May also need to set $31=3000 gnea/grbl but that depends whether M3 S0 with default config turns the spindle off, or sets it to 3000RPM Thus M3S12000 will set the spindle to maximum RPM, etc
